Netgear EX7300

With the robust Nighthawk X4 AC2200 WiFi Range Extender (EX7300), Netgear makes it to the class of Multi-User Multiple Input, Multiple Output (MU-MIMO) technology to feature in a WiFi range extender. The EX7300 is really simple to install and manage, and delivers premium range performance for the 5GHz tests, and its MU-MIMO throughput is commendable.

The EX7300 is slightly bigger in size, but there are no external antennas. On the other hand, it comes with an internal antenna array inside its slightly tapered chassis, along with multiple high-power amplifiers. EX7300 is a dual-band extender that go up to maximum speeds of 450Mbps and 1,733Mbps on respective bands. Moreover, it supports the latest performance Wi-Fi technologies, including beamforming, which sends data directly to clients instead of a broad spectrum. The MU-MIMO streaming transmits data to appropriate clients in real time.

At the rear of the extender body, there is a three-pronged plug, and also a Gigabit LAN port on the bottom. If you're looking to fill in dead spots that your router can't reach, the Netgear Nighthawk X4 AC2200 Wi-Fi Range Extender (EX7300) is an excellent choice. It's fairly easy to install and delivers some of the fastest throughput performance we've seen from a plug-in range extender, especially when operating on the 5GHz band.
